Trunk Or Treat 2025
Follow the Spectrum's 2025 Autism Trunk or Treat brought families together in Fayetteville for an afternoon of costumes, creative trunks, treats and community. The event was held outside the Crown Expo Center in partnership with Fayetteville Fan Fest.

Families joined us for decorated trunks, candy, costumes and an opportunity to connect with community organizations and supporters. The free event gave children and families another place to have fun together while celebrating inclusion and autism awareness.
Trunk or Treat was held alongside Fayetteville Fan Fest, bringing the community together around family activities, superheroes, fandom and plenty of Halloween fun. We're grateful to the families, volunteers, vendors, sponsors and community partners who helped make the afternoon possible.

Fayetteville, NC – Follow the Spectrum is bringing back its annual Autism Trunk or Treat this fall in partnership with Fayetteville Fan Fest 2025. The free community event will take place on Saturday, October 18, from 3:00 p.m. until sundown (approximately 6:30 to 7:00 p.m.), outside of the Crown Arena.
Families attending the Trunk or Treat will enjoy decorated trunks, candy giveaways, and the opportunity to connect with local organizations and vendors before heading into Fan Fest activities. The event is free for all guests and designed as a family-friendly experience to promote community, inclusion, and awareness.
Vendors and sponsors are invited to participate by signing up as a trunk sponsor, passing out candy, or setting up a booth to share retail items or organizational information. This provides a unique way for businesses and nonprofits to engage with families while supporting a meaningful cause.

Fayetteville Fan Fest will take place October 18–19 inside the Crown Expo Center. The event brings together two conventions—Base Con and Verse Con—for one weekend celebrating all things fandom. Base Con will transform the expo floor into a hub for vendors, artists, cosplayers, and fan clubs, while Verse Con will host panels, contests, Q&As, and after-hours entertainment. Celebrity guests, fan-favorite stars, and a wide variety of pop culture experiences are scheduled for the weekend.
Fan Fest hours are 10:00 a.m. on both Saturday, October 18, and Sunday, October 19. Tickets are available for single-day admission or weekend passes.
The Autism Trunk or Treat offers families a perfect starting point before entering the Fan Fest experience, combining community support with one of the region’s most exciting fandom events.
